Those who are considering or have already chosen the human resources major is well ensured for a successful career within the near future. The reason being is that Human Resources is an essential department needed to help businesses and companies succeed. It is also important to know that there are many different careers and pathways that will help you achieve success through the Human Resources Industry. Here’s a couple of sectors/careers of HR you can consider as you study at TRSM:

Diversity and Inclusion

The Diversity and Inclusion sector of the Human Resources industry is very important to a company’s culture and the effectiveness of employees within a workplace. Careers within this sector are responsible for creating/implementing/ensuring plans to promote diversity between employees and the organization. They are also known to create diversity training programs that will clarify any inclusion issues and will help employees understand their roles in relation to their coworkers and other aspects within the workplace.

Salary Range (Career: Director of Diversity and Inclusion, U.S.A): $87,829 - $118,408

Talent Acquisition

The Talent Acquisition sector is also an essential part of a company’s ability to hire employees related to its goals and objectives. This sector is responsible for identifying and acquiring skilled workers needed to complete organizational operations and other projects. Some skills needed to succeed within this field include:

Total Rewards and Compensation

CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer)

They are mainly responsible for the developing and executing human resources strategies in relation to the overall business plan and future developments of the company.
